DSOTM! Now I see it. My bad. I'm not used to seeing the abbreviation for it. Alan Parsons' "Vulture Culture" is another good one that comes to mind.

How can anyone not mention Dark Side of the Moon-Pink Floyd. That was the most technologically advanced band of it's time. Even now today, you'd be hard pressed to find an an eual.

Depends on the quality of the reel. I have mostyly 7 1/2" ips but I have a few 3 1/2" ips. The 7'ers of course have a lot more data on them and sound amazing. I have to admit though, my old Akia r2r is starting to show it's age. I found a replacement motor about 4 years ago though so maybe it will go another 40 years.
