Yup it's a HD screen jvc, I wouldn't have wanted to turn it into a HD Tv otherwise, as for why do it? I have the screen, I have some time, why not? In a worst case scenario I could resell everything and be out about 20-30 bucks.

I don't know if it's actually worth all the hassle which goes with turning it into a tv and more often than not ending up with sub par quality when flat screens are as cheap as they are.

I cant paste the actual URL, but you should be able to find it easily enough. If you have a HDTV it allows you to watch, pause and record it. Which is awesome for those moments where you just need to be away from the TV for some situation.

Don't forget, the screen itself has to be capable of showing HD picture (720p, 1080i, and 1080p).

Turning PC screen into HD tv?
I've got a 23 inch screen lying around and I thought about turning it into a HD TV instead of letting it gather dust, any recommendations on some external TV tuners which would be up to the task?
