About 6" from rear and side walls, 9" from ceiling. Probably angled in and down towards listening position, gotta play around with the firing angle.

Port on the front should be function the same from what I can tell. How close to the wall are you planning?

Madisound RB2
Hi all,
I have just placed an order for the madisound recession buster 2 set and 2 pieces of flare vents. This is my first speaker build and will appreciate all the advise I can get.
The speakers are meant for general music listening. These will be suspended on the wall with steel speaker arms near to the walls on the rear, side and ceiling.
Madisound suggests the box to be rear ported. I intend to have the port at the front as it is near the rear wall. Any downside to this configuration change? Or where should the front port be positioned?
