The idea behind this neat little gadget is to use vibrations of your skull to make you hear the the music, this eliminates the pain ear buds cause and you can be more aware of your surroundings. Have you ever tried them? Do they sound as good as regular headphones?

I have heard about them, I actually saw a show test them as swimming headphones and the conclusion they came to was that it wasn't to great, how they work on land however I have no idea, still I don't really think it's a must have gadget.

This is the first time I'm hearing about this, but I imagine if it uses your bones to conduct he vibrations to your inner ear than the quality has to be lower than when actually using the organ that has been specifically designed by nature to do the same job.

I've heard of them too, never listened to them. Its definitely a cool gimmick if you want to keep your ears open to hear other sounds, but in terms of quality its got nothing on a good pair of headphones

Never tried them myself, but I can't imagine they sound as good as regular headphones, sound needs to be picked up by the bones in the ear, not the bones surrounding it.
