They actually sound pretty good, but there is no way to determine that accurately from a video, I'll have to try and build this when I have some spare time and see how it works for myself.

Interesting stuff, I have also been interested in DIY projects for a long time, unfortunately I never seem to make enough time to actually finish one (I have been "making" a mame arcade cabinet since 2006).

Well I built the little bugger out of curiosity, I didn't box it since it will be repurposed soon enough. Not much to say about it, the volume has increased, but the audio quality is so so.
