I got a call one day from my boss, he was all excited about this new sub he just got in so i perk up. I tend to be the bass guy and know more then him when it comes to bass and the related issues. So i head over there and there it is sitting there, a sexy black box.

This thing is built to last, if you havent seen the videos on building it i strongly suggest it. the boxes are very well braced and supported there is no way any extra vibrations are getting out of there.

The one thing i cant get over is how well this thing blends with the other speakers, it just disappears into the blackness when listening. Also how low it goes on 1000 watts.

The built in EQ is not a full EQ, it has a library of built in settings. It first measures you're room then looks in its library for a EQ setup that will tame and extend the freq properly. It may sound like its not that great but it did one hell of a job at my boss's place. there was a huge null at the listening location at about 53hz, the eq boosted that and extended the low end freqs into ~20s. it really does a good job for being built in.

The driver is a modified W7 car audio driver. the amp is a modified JL 1000/1 car amp. Both are super good performers, rock solid driver.

If i had the money i would get one if not 4 of these for a room. great sub for movies and music.
