The SAZ-1500D is Sundown Audio's entry into the high powered Class-D amplifier market. This amplifier was designed from the ground up to exceed all consumer expectations. I havent personally played with one but I hear nothing but great things about them! I would definatly consider buying one
Awesome Amp, Love it
Pros: Benches at ~ 1700 watts rms in a 1 ohm load!
Cons: Electrical maybe? But IMO upgrading is a must for even a decent system
Awesome amp. Had it on stock electrical at .5 ohms for a week, but the amp got hot after playing for 45 minutes, car off, so I rewired it to 2 ohms. My fault, I was stupid to abuse it, but it stills works the same as when I got it. Flawlessly that is. Will be going at .5ohms once I install my new alt and eventually a 2 ohm total load once I upgrade using the master/slave option :)
I still love this amp.
Pros: Does what is rated plus more.
Cons: Doesn't like stock electrical much.
From Day one of me installing this amp, I was in love.
Ive compared it to other amps in similar power ranges and wouldn't trade it for the world. Sure did give my Fi Car Audio 12 Q dual2 a work out. I just couldn't get enough of this amp.
Never got hot, or went into protect.
If anything Is thinking of buying this amp, don't think anymore, you wont be let down at all.
Great amp for the price
Pros: lots of power, .5 ohm stable
Cons: may need to upgrade electrical system
I installed two of these in two different cars and both people still love them nearly a year later. These amps are in the trunk of both cars with little to no ventilation and even with hot Florida summers they never seem to get too warm.
Very solid performing amps. Jacob's customer service rocks as well.
