I have beenwatching these for months . I sure would like to have seen dual 4ohm subs. Since this is coming to the market in the next 6 weeks, its going to be interesting how these turn out?
From the very few reviews i have read, there doesnt seem to be that "WOW" factor but just an overall decent sub rateing. Also interesting to see what the next version #5 will be in the future,Along with the possability addition of other subwoofers sizes besides 12" ones and in differant ohm wiring configures.

Looking foreward to the coming reviews !

Jim, Chad, and Ryan all had nothing but positive things and it's saying something when Jim J's review was a short as it was. Usually Jim notices every little thing a subwoofer is doing wrong, so it's a big compliment that his review was short. :) I'm anxious to get the production drivers in and read other people's reviews too.

From what I've read this sub is geared towards SQ. How would this sub compare to the JL Audio 12W6v1?

Yes, we took the original concept of the Mag (read: not what it had grown into by the 3'rd/last generation) and ran with it, which was really good sound quality and really good output in a small sealed enclosure. With the reviews the prototype Mag v4 received, I think we hit the nail on the head. The little sucker managed to do a 136 on the Term Lab, which isn't half bad for a "SQ" subwoofer. :o) Also, it's only 5.5" deep, which will make a lot of people happy. A big gripe with all of the previous Mag's was the mounting depth.

As far as it comparing to the dubsix, we'll have to see when someone compares the two. I know which sub I've got my bet on. ;o)

Congrads Nick, I hope the V4 does well! Its nice to see more0 unconventional designs and flavors hit the market. No need for more boring overhung stuff imo
