- DC Audio Level 5 10" Subwoofer

The DC Audio Level 5 Subs are absolutely gigantic woofers designed for bragging rights in SPL competitions. The Level 5 will be available in 10”, 12”, 15”, or 18” versions that can be outfitted with optional carbon fiber dust caps.

More pics and specs after the jump.

The subs can handle 2,000 watts RMS through either single or dual 3” voice coils with 3-5 spiders per application. Unfortunately, not much more is known about these Level 5 subs at the moment. But more information should be available when they are released in about a month with a starting price of $550. So if you need a monster SPL woofer to lay down the law, DC Audio has you covered.

I've never heard of DC Audio before. They're site leaves to be desired as well, however, that sub looks beastly.

They are fairly new in the car audio scene, but they have been very well received thus far. That 10" is absolutely insane looking.

Uhm, the 12" and the 18" inch pictures are the same... :P

Did a little guessing, and here is the 18" :)

It looks like the 10 won't fit in the cut out hole because the magnet is too big???

There was mention of that on the CA.com thread. Basically you'll have to mount it from the inside or run it inverted. It wasn't very clear if the 10" version will make it to production either.

The owner of the company is a well-known SPL competitor (Rusty something) and I gathered that the 10" was put together just for fun and wouldn't be going to production. Could be wrong, though.

Interesting. I wonder what they're lower lines are like.
