Zune 2 Prices and Info
Filed under: Portable Audio > Portable Audio Players
The new Zunes are now official. There is a new 80GB hard drive based Zune with a 3.2" screen that will run you $250. There are two new flash based Zunes in 8GB and 4GB sizes with 1.8" screens that will cost you $200 and $150 respectively. And of course the "Zune 30" (revision of current model) will still be around.
All of the current model Zunes will receive a software upgrade to give them the same features as the new models. Ship date will be sometime in November and the coolest feature of all, the new Zunes will be able to Wi-Fi sync with computers for file transfers. SWEET!

It would be nice if these things actually gave apple some competition

Exactly, and meanwhile I'll be buying something from Creative or SanDisk that doesn't have any required software and will allow me to just drag and drop.

I am waiting for the sandisk sansa clip to come out. I would just like someone to take apple down a peg.
