New Bowers & Wilkins Signature Diamond Speakers

At just under $22,000 each, the new Signature Diamond Speakers are B&W's way of celebrating 40 years in the loudspeaker business.

A Kevlar midrange/bass driver and a synthetic diamond tweeter in a custom marble tube make up the two-way loudspeaker. The synthetic diamond tweeter is created by "crystallizing a ‘carbon frost’ into the shape of the dome at temperatures approaching those of the sun’s surface." The diamond dome tweeters and Kevlar drivers give the speakers a 40Hz – 28kHz (±3dB) frequency response on the reference axis.

Limited to just 1,000 pairs the Signature Diamond Speakers are scheduled to be released in June.
