Simaudio Moon i-3.3 Integrated Amp and CD-3.3 CD Player

Simaudio has followed up on the release of its entry level Moon i-1 integrated and CD-1 CD player by releasing new versions of its step up Moon 3 series components, which are now up to version 3.3. The new Moon i-3.3 integrated uses the same chassis design as the i-1. A new custom torodial transformer allows the i-3.3 to provide 100 watts per channel into 8 Ohms, and 200 watts into 4 Ohms. The Moon i-3.3 is available in silver and black finishes, priced at $2,999. Optional balanced inputs, a Class-A phonostage, and an internal DAC are available for $300, $400, and $500, respectively.

Like the Moon i-3.3, the new CD-3.3 uses the same chassis design as CD-1. The CD-3.3 features an ultra low jitter re-clocking circuit, gold-plated circuit boards, a Burr-Brown digital filter and DAC, a fully balanced analog output stage, and 24bit/352.8kHz upsampling. The Moon CD-3.3 is available in silver and black finishes, priced at $2,799. Optional balanced outputs are available for $300.
