Put Your Old CDs to Use

As we inch ever closer to the demise of Cd's, many creative uses are popping up. Want to get a workout with some Abba's Greatest Hits, or whatever else you can dig up for cheap, this one is for you.
Danny Seo got his hands on 150 used CD's that were taking up space at a Goodwill store. What better way to use them than to make some CD dumbbells. He used 75 on each side and a threaded rod with bolts to hold the discs in place. Weight per dumbbell is about 10 pounds and at the very least they will make a great conversation piece.

Good idea. I'm planning to replace my CD player with either the PS Audio PWT or Olive Opus, and I've got loads of CDs that will have to go somewhere.
