Aquabeat Waterproof MP3 Player

iRiver has released a new MP3 player designed for the swimmer set. Marketed by Speedo, the Aquabeat is a waterproof music player usable in depths up to 3 meters. It weighs just 35g, and is designed to float for easy retrieval.

The Aquabeat is available in black, lime, or pink, and includes waterproof earplugs and playlist editing software. Unfortunately, the maximum 1GB of storage and 9hr battery life are pretty limited for the $144.99 price.

I like lime but not the one in the photo ha!ha! iRiver has released a new MP3 player designed for the swimmer set. He has started to tinker with my iPod now and anything that has music in it so I bought myself this H2O Waterproof Headphones from http://www.pressdigital.com.au/ so in case he wants to listen to music I can just lend it to him. The headphone lived up to its reputation and has lessened my worries about my gadgets getting easily damaged with water. This Aquabeat waterproof earplugs is great and I was wondering if I can give this to him as a gift for his birthday. However the price tag is a bit high for kids gadget.
