I couldn't pass up the deal Digital Designs is offering on their DD-LS241 Satellite Speakers ($70 each), so I ordered five of them. I'll be using four as surrounds and bought an extra to play around with.

Here are pics from in-the-box to fully exposed.

The packaging was good and the individual speaker boxes were all inside of larger boxes.

The dual 4.5" midrange drivers with front mounted Neo motors and the 1" ferrofluid cooled silk dome tweeter with the grill off.

Close up of the front mount neo motor.

The rear

Side view that shows how thin they are.

The rotating mounting bracket before and after assembly.

The gloss black finish is beautiful and they did a really nice job with it. The speakers look like they are more expensive than they actually are and for $70 I think they are a steal based on their eye candy factor alone. I haven't had a chance to listen to them yet though, so no comments on that just yet. Thankfully they also left the emblems optional (you can see it in the open box picture) since I'll be leaving them off for the murdered out look.

That is great pricing. I may have to pick up a pair of those powered monitors.
