AV123 X-Optima Open Baffle Speaker

Not many speaker companies are willing to tackle open-baffle designs these days, but AV123 has embraced it full on cranking out multiple open baffle loudspeakers. Their newest is the X-Optima, which utilizes four 6.5" custom designed xbl^2 woofers for the low-end, dual custom Peerless India 6.5" curvilinear shaped treated paper cone woofers for midrange and a 1" Peerless India treated fabric dome tweeter. The X-Optima stands 68" tall and will have fillable pockets in the base to add weight for stability.

The X-Optima speakers have an estimated price of $1,499 and are currently still in development.
