Fi BTL Subwoofer Updated for 2008

Steve Meade got his hands on some of the newly updated FI Car Audio BTL subwoofers and made a short video you can see after the jump. That has to be one of the widest motors I've seen on a subwoofer.
The new BTL will be available May 1st and is expected to be slightly more expensive. Details are still a bit vague, but the tinsel leads are updated and the driver is a few pounds heavier than the old BTL. Power handling is supposedly the same, as much as you can throw at it.

We sell the Ascendant Audio versions of the FI's (same company) and these 18" have serious output and extension. We found that around 2,500 watts RMS works well.
