Speaker Cabinet Turned Media Storage
Filed under: Home Audio > Speakers > Floorstanding Speakers
While I'm not too keen on hacking up an old speaker cabinet, this is a pretty cool DIY project for physical media storage. Considering speaker cabinets like the ones used are readily available at thrift stores, you probably won't have any Audiophile Gestapo harassing you for destroying a piece of audio history.

The creator basically cut the fronts off and installed hinges and shelving so that the inside of the enclosures can be used for storage. Pretty ingenious and they don't look too bad.
