AudioCubes has two new Japanese domestic market Denon headphones available, the AH-D301 and AH-D501, which feature an "innovative arm structure" for a secure and comfortable fit, and self adjusting straps similar to the high end AKG and Audio-Technica headphones. Both models are available in black or silver, weigh 180g, and include 1.3m OFC cords terminated with mini-jacks, phono-jack adapters with 1.7m extension cords. The AH-D301 ($69.99) has a frequency response of 10Hz - 22kHz, 100dB/mW sensitivity, and 28 Ohm impedance. The AH-D501 ($99.99) has a frequency response of 10Hz - 24kHz, 103dB/mW sensitivity, and 28 Ohm impedance.

Those straps...the headbands...are extremely comfortable. I have a few Audio-Technica cans with the self-adjusting straps and they are just insanely comfortable and worry free.

If they are supra-aural without much mass in the cups, there is a tendency to not isolate very well. But these don't fit that circumstance and the arm structure looks intriguing. Might have to get a pair, although early musings have suggested that they lack some refinement and detail (sonically speaking).
