The Future of Headphone Cords

Plain old headphone cords are due for a replacement. Lighted headphones and earbuds are popping up in a few places, and the cords are following. This new concept by Terence Woon called "Music Light" is unique because instead of just pulsing to the frequencies in the music, it allows pulses of light to "move up and down the cords, pulsating, rippling, shifting colors even." Theoretically someone could know what song you are listening to simply by seeing the light show.

Now of course most hardcore headphile guys will scoff at this, but I have a feeling the masses will love it.

Sure people are going to scoff at it, but they can't deny that it's not cool. ;) You would have a LOT of people looking at you and asking you questions, which would be a pain while trying to listen. But then again, if you get these cords you want the attention anyway. :)

That is pretty awesome. I would so wear a pair of those everywhere and crank some metallica for awesome effects.
